1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Gas Flow Calculator ("the App"), developed by Fanioz ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use our mobile application. It explains what the App collects, what our advertising partner Google collects, and how to control both. Version 1.1 adds advertising disclosures; earlier versions described an app that did not show ads, and this policy replaces them in full.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, receive, or store any of your personal information. The App has no user accounts, no registration, and no server of its own. The calculator operates entirely on your device.

Specifically, no personal data (name, email, phone number, etc.) and no location data is collected by us:

• No personal data (name, email, phone number, etc.) is collected by us
• No location data is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry is collected by us — we have no analytics SDK
• Device identifiers for advertising (the Android Advertising ID) are used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads, as described below

3. Local Data Storage (your calculations)

The App stores your most recent calculation input parameters (pipe diameter, orifice diameter, upstream pressure, differential pressure, temperature, and specific gravity) locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data:

• Is stored only on your device
• Is never transmitted to any server or third party, including to us — there is nowhere to send it
• Can be cleared by uninstalling the App or clearing App data in your device settings
• Contains no personally identifiable information

This is unchanged by the addition of advertising and remains true: your engineering calculations never leave your device, and the calculator itself works fully offline.

4. Third-Party Services (advertising)

The App integrates with Google AdMob for advertising and with no other third-party service. There are no analytics platforms and no social media SDKs. Google's advertising SDK may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and standard ad-interaction data (such as views and clicks) in order to serve and measure ads. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms documentation.

5. Internet Permission

The App requests the INTERNET permission. This is required to fetch an advertisement from Google's ad servers. The calculator itself does not require the internet: it performs every calculation on your device, and it continues to work with no connection, in airplane mode, or on a site with no signal. Only the ad slot needs the network, and when there is no connection the App shows no ad and nothing else is affected.

6. Your Choices About Ads

If the App determines you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, it asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, in line with Google's User Messaging Platform:

• Consent to personalized ads lets AdMob use your advertising identifier to show ads that are more relevant to you.
• Decline does not remove ads. You will still see ads, but they are non-personalized — they use your advertising identifier far less, and are chosen by context rather than by you. Monetization is unaffected; the App merely cannot personalize.
• Outside the EEA and UK, consent is not required and the App shows contextual ads; you are not asked.

You can also reset or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time from your device's system settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID), which applies to all apps on the device, including this one. You can change the in-app consent choice by clearing the App's data, which returns the App to its first-launch state and prompts you again.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain none of your data, because we receive none. Google retains advertising data it collects according to its own retention schedule under its privacy policy. Uninstalling the App deletes your locally stored calculation inputs, because they live only on the device. It does not by itself delete Google's advertising records, which are held on Google's side; resetting your advertising identifier (Section 6) limits how new activity can be tied to your device going forward.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is a general-purpose engineering calculator. Advertising shown in the App is served by Google AdMob under Google's own policies for age-appropriate and policy-compliant ads.

9. Data Security

Because the App neither collects nor transmits your data, there are no security risks from our handling of it. Your ability to share this Privacy Policy is limited to what our advertising partner Google collects as described in Sections 4 and 6, which is sent over secure connections to Google's servers and governed by Google's security practices.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change that affects what is collected will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and the policy version at the top of this page, and, for material changes, in the App's release notes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. You can always find the enforceable version at the App's Play Store listing.
