Privacy Policy

for PocketBudget

1. Information We Collect

PocketBudget stores all financial data locally on your device using SQLite. This includes:

• Transaction records you enter (amounts, categories, notes, dates)
• Budget settings and preferences you configure

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

2. Data Storage

All financial data is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device. There is no cloud sync, no backend server, and no remote database. If you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted from your device.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

PocketBudget uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve relevant ads, including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device type, operating system, and language settings
• App usage data for ad performance measurement

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device's advertising settings.

Users who purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase will no longer be served ads, and AdMob data collection will be disabled for those users.

4. In-App Purchases

PocketBudget offers optional in-app purchases (Remove Ads, Export Data) processed through Google Play. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. Please refer to Google Play's Terms of Service for details on payment data handling.

5. Permissions

PocketBudget may request the following device permissions:

• Storage: To read/write the local database and export data files (if you purchase the Export Data feature)
• Internet: Required for displaying ads (AdMob) and processing in-app purchases

6. Children's Privacy

PocketBudget is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights

Since all your financial data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• Delete individual transactions or all data within the app
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove all stored data
• Opt out of personalized ads through your device settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
